New Billy

Purchased a Alpine/Lamancha cross billy from a lady in Moriarty nm. He is seven months old. I needed to breed my 5 nannys. I had borrowed a friends Boer billy that was 5 months old but he did not perform. He was named Patrick...He had been a bottle baby raised in the house and had not spent time with the rest of the goats. This new one we named Briscoe and he is just what I needed. In two days he has bred the 3 boer/nubian crosses. Have a hard time believing they were in heat but they were flagging him and wanted in the pen with him. Now he needs to to breed the two lamanchas.

Nina the registered Lamancha is still giving almost 1/2 gallon of milk a day.
